| Amidst volatility, Nifty 50 increased by 1.17% in the month of March in 2021 despite steep rise in US bond yields along with rising COVID-19 cases in India as well as globally. Economic activity continued to remain better than expectation, post unlocking of the economy. Foreign Institutions (FII) bought Rs.1, 245 crores (approx.) worth of equities in the March month and Domestic Institutions bought Rs.5,204 crores (approx.) worth of equities. |
